Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2025

These terms cover use of this website and waitlist. When the Village app launches, additional in-app terms will apply and you'll be asked to accept them at that point.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Labraxtech Ltd, based in Kerry, Ireland ("Village", "we", "us", "our"). Village is a mobile app that helps parents discover family-friendly places, activities, and community resources.

If you have any questions about these terms, contact us at georgia@labraxtech.com.

2. Accepting these terms

By using this website — including joining the waitlist or submitting a business enquiry — you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

3. Using this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems
  • Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or spam
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the site without our permission
  • Do anything that could damage, disable, or impair the site or interfere with others' use of it

4. Waitlist sign-ups

By joining the waitlist, you're expressing interest in the Village app and consenting to receive updates from us about the launch. We will use your email address only for this purpose.

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the app or any particular features. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.

For full details of how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Business enquiries

Submitting a business enquiry does not constitute a contract, guarantee a listing, or create any obligation on either side. We will respond to enquiries at our discretion.

By submitting an enquiry, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to represent the business named.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and the Village name — is owned by or licensed to Labraxtech Ltd and is protected by Irish and EU intellectual property law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our prior written permission.

7. Third-party links

This site may contain links to third-party websites (such as the App Store or Google Play). These are provided for convenience only. We have no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or terms.

8. Disclaimers

This website is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be available at all times, free from errors, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Information on this site about the Village app (features, availability, launch dates) is provided in good faith but is subject to change. We make no guarantees about when or where the app will be available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, Labraxtech Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on any information contained within it.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
